3i has appointed Mark Kerr as an investment director. He joins 3i’s Aberdeen-based oil and gas team from the company’s Glasgow office. A qualified actuary and a mathematics and MBA graduate, Kerr began his career with 3i in Aberdeen in 1996 and subsequently worked in both the Cambridge and Edinburgh offices.
During his time with 3i, he has worked on a number of significant oil and gas deals for 3i, including the £52m creation of RBGltd following the merger of Rigblast Group Ltd, Fallsky Ltd (the holding company of Macgregor Energy Services Ltd (MESL) and Mach-Ten Offshore Ltd.
