Argos Soditic backs ORSYP deal

ORSYP, a French IT firm owned by Paris-based buyouts house Argos Soditic, has acquired Sysload Software, a data management business.

It is the first purchase by ORSYP since its MBO in December 2007, since which time Argos has been looking to launch its build and build strategy.

The deal was funded by a combination Orsyp’s cash and a new bank loan arranged by

BNP Paribas, together with LCL and HSBC.

It is the private equity outfits second investment of the year, the first coming in January when it pumped an additional €1m into Buffet Crampon, a clarinet manufacturer it acquired in 2005.
