Ariadne gets Griffin

Ariadne Capital, the VC and advisory firm set up by the co-founder of First Tuesday, Julie Meyer has appointed Emma Griffin as director. Griffin will assist in managing client activities including attracting new companies and helping to execute on existing mandates. She will also work with the firm’s private investor network and research services.

Griffin was previously business development director of Hemscott, which listed on AIM in August 2000, raising GBP18 million. She has also worked at HSBC as head of the technology/business services research team involved in the flotation of technology companies such as Computacenter. Griffin also gained experience in corporate finance at Schroders.
