Ashurst expands

Rainer Eichholz has joined Ashurst Morris Crisp as a partner in the firm’s German practice. He joins from Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, where he was managing director in the global debt division.

The appointment continues a period of expansion for the law firm in Germany with the arrival last month of corporate partner Jrg Kirchner from Baker & McKenzie and last year’s appointment to partnership of both Andrew Edge and Andreas Zahn.

Eichholz has broad corporate finance skills and will focus on acquisition finance and structured finance transactions for corporates and banks. Qualified in finance, corporate and tax law, he will work across the firm’s international finance, private equity and tax practices in Germany.
