Ashurst name change

International law firm Ashurst Morris Crisp has changed its name to Ashurst. The name change is part of a rebranding programme for the firm. In the past three years, Ashurst has appointed around 40 new partners and opened offices in Madrid and Munich.

With a focus on M&A, corporate and structured finance, Ashurst provides a comprehensive range of complementary practices in areas such as antitrust, real estate, tax, litigation, energy, transport and infrastructure.

Ashurst has over 150 partners and more than 800 lawyers in 10 countries and has recently advised international clients such as Go-Fly, P&O Stena Line, Hitachi Ltd, Virgin, The Royal Bank of Scotland, BNP Paribas, Centrica, Imperial Tobacco, Deutsche Telekom, Mitsubishi Corporation and Marriott Hotels. Ashurst also this year worked on Europe’s largest buyout, SEAT Pagine Gialle, as well as the largest buyout last year, Legrand.
