Award season

Another year is almost over so we have another opportunity for self congratulation. Though the EVCJ Awards have been well renowned for over eight years, for the first time this year we are hosting a black tie dinner to celebrate you, our friends and colleagues in the industry. It will be held on the 31st of January 2007 at the Dorchester Hotel in London and you are all invited.

There is a cost associated with buying seats or tables but all of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Save the Children and for some of you the costs will be tax deductible. As always at the Dorchester, the food and wine will be of the highest quality and a good time and networking opportunities are almost guaranteed. Of course I want you to show up for my own selfish reasons because the only thing more embarrassing than public speaking is publicly speaking to an empty room. I will not be your only entertainment there will also be a hip celebrity in attendance.

If you are interested in submitting your fund or firm for an award, entries will be open until December 16, 2006 and EVCJ.com will host an online voting forum throughout the month of December. If you would like more details click on the award banner to the right or e-mail me directly at Amanda.palmer@thomson.com.

Good Luck and I’ll see you on the night.

Sincerely,

Amanda Williams Palmer
