Barclays Ventures floats System C

Barclays Ventures is to exit System C Healthcare following a £27.3m float on AIM.

A UK IT solutions business for the healthcare sector, System C has raised £8.5m in the placing, valuing the company at £47.7m.

Barclays Ventures first invested in October 2001, again in November of the same year and also in 2004, when it led a £3m financing round.

Under Barclays’ watch, the company has grown from 38 employees to over 200.
