Benson expands team

Private equity real estate firm Benson Elliot has made three additions to its management team.

Joseph DeLeo has been made partner and director of portfolio management in Benson Elliot. DeLeo has 12 years private equity real estate experience and will be responsible for the company’s investment strategy across its portfolio. De Leo joined Benson from Fortress Investment Group.

Chris Coulson has been appointed development director at Benson. He has over 15 years of real estate project experience. Prior to Benson, Coulson was the development director for Lordship Estates, an investor and developer in Central and Eastern Europe.

Benson Elliot also appointed Dorothee Wintle who will be the company’s senior in-house legal professional. She will oversee Benson’s corporate and investment activities and manage external counsel on transactional matters.
