BlackRock Alternatives collects $4.5bn for fourth global infrastructure fund

The target is $7.5 billion.

BlackRock Alternatives has raised $4.5 billion for its fourth infrastructure fund. The target is $7.5 billion.

BlackRock Global Infrastructure Fund IV’s limited partners include public and private pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies and family offices.

Infra IV will target investments across five sectors: energy & environmental, low carbon power, regulated utilities, transportation & logistics, and digital infrastructure.

BlackRock Alternatives’ infrastructure platform currently manages over $50 billion in client assets. BlackRock manages $313 billion in alternative investments and commitments on behalf of clients worldwide as of September 30, 2022.
