bmp portfolio company Bankier, a Polish finance portals, has successfully listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Shares were priced at PLN8.25 on listing, 10% over the PLN7.50 issue price with a market capitalisation of €13.5m.
bmp invested in Bankier in 2001with one of its portfolio companies CEEV GmbH. bmp and CEEV invested a total of €1.75m, shared equally between the two.
At the beginning of 2006, bmp and CEEV realised a total of €0.6m from the business prior to the IPO. The IPO generated €2.4m for both parties, which have retained a holding of around 20% in Bankier.
bmp and CEEV have committed to sell the shares within the first 12 months, but only if these reach a value of 15% over the issue price of PLN7.5.
