BNP completes secondary sale

BNP Paribas Private Equity, the private equity arm of BNP Paribas for third party clients, has sold most of the underlying shareholdings owned by vehicles it managed.

Most of BNP Paribas Private Equity minority shareholdings within five companies from Antin FCPI 1, fund of vintage 2001, and Antin FCPI 2, fund of vintage 2002 were divested ahead of an early termination of the funds.

FCPI vehicles Antin FCPI 1 and Antin FCPI 2 will be closed in a few months and investors will get their capital back, as well as significant capital gain.

Brice Lionnet, co-manager of the FCPI range at BNP Paribas Private Equity said: “This is a win/win transaction where we were able to sell out assets at a satisfactory price level.”
