Bowmark makes double appointment

Mid-market private equity firm Bowmark Capital has recruited two new members to its investment team. Julian Masters joins the firm as partner and Tom Shelford as an investment director.

Masters has over nine years of private equity investment experience, most recently with European Capital where he was a founding member and director of the UK buy-out team. He began his private equity career at PricewaterhouseCoopers transaction services group, and subsequently became a director of Credit Suisse Private Equity/DLJ Merchant Banking.

Shelford joins Bowmark from Nomura Private Equity where he was an associate focusing on mid-market investments in the UK business services sector. He spent the previous six years at PricewaterhouseCoopers, latterly as a manager in corporate finance.
