Candover appts Paris MD

Candover has appointed Cyrille Chevrillon as a managing director. Chevrillon will join Candover’s executive board and will be based in Paris with a specific brief to generate and transact large buyouts in France heading up Candover’s existing team which comprises Jean-Michel Coulot, Cyril Zivré and Sebastien Canderlé.

Candover has worked closely with Chevrillon on transactions for more than five years. He founded Chevrillon & Associates, a leading French investment company in 1992. Between 1986 and 1992, Cyrille worked for Salomon Brothers SA as general manager of investment banking for France.

Candover is currently setting up a Düssledorf office, which will be operational in early 2003. In May 2002 Candover appointed Kurt Kinzuis, formerly head of M&A at Mannesmann, to head the German team, and in October Alejandro Von Der Pahlen joined as an adviser to originate deals in Spain and Portugal. Also in 2002, Sébastien Canderlé and Jens Dino Steinborn joined the French and German teams, respectively.
