CapMan adds to team

CapMan has added a Danish senior advisor and three Swedish investment professionals to its team.

Peter Langkjaer is now senior advisor to the CapMan buyout business unit based in the firm’s Copenhagen office. Langkjaer is chairman of the board of Danish consulting company Lisberg Management and was previously managing director of the company for almost 20 years.

Göran Barsby is appointed investment director and Mats Gullbrandsson as investment manager in the firm’s buyout business unit. Rikard Albihn, who was previously investment manager in CapMan’s technology business unit, will transfer to the buyout business unit. All three will be based in CapMan’s Stockholm office.

Barsby worked previously for Ahrens Tillväxtkonsulter AB, consulting Sweden’s most rapidly growing companies. He has held a variety of international CEO positions with food packaging companies Tetra Pak and Tetra Laval, media group Bonnier, food producer and marketer Procordia and technology company Toolex Alpha. He is also a board member in numerous Swedish companies.

Gullbrandsson has extensive experience within M&A, corporate finance and management consulting. Prior to joining CapMan he worked for ABN AMRO in New York.

Albihn joined CapMan’s technology business unit as investment manager in January 2001. He transferred to CapMan from the venture capital company Zone AB, which he also co-founded. Previously he worked as a financial analyst within IT/telecom at Handelsbanken Investment Banking and within corporate finance at Andersen Global Corporate Finance.
