CapMan makes changes

Nordic investor CapMan has made three promotions to its 150-strong team following the recent closure of three of its funds.

Hans Christian Dall Nygård and Joakim Rubin have been appointed as senior partners and Mari Maunula as fundraising manager.

Dall Nygård was the former managing director of Russian private equity house Norum which was acquired by CapMan in 2008. Following the acquisition, he was made partner and head of Russia’s investment operations at the Nordic firm.

Rubin also joined CapMan in 2008 and was added to the firm’s public market team with a focus on Swedish investments. He joined CapMan from Handelsbanken Capital Markets, where he was head of corporate finance and debt capital markets. He has over 20 years of investment banking experience and has been involved in public and private transactions in the Nordic region.

Maunula joined CapMan as a fundraising and IR analyst in 2007. Prior to CapMan, she was a researcher for The Research Institute of the Finnish Economy.

With approximately €3.5bn in private equity capital, CapMan employs over 150 people in Helsinki, Stockholm, Copenhagen, Oslo and Moscow.
