The Carlyle Group’s portfolio company UC4 Software has acquired SENACTIVE, an event-driven business process modelling technology for an undisclosed sum.
Following three years of collaboration on new product development and technology, the acquisition marks the culmination of the two companies close working relationship. The combination of the UC4 and SENACTIVE technologies brings real time monitoring and analysis to the automation of IT processes.
SENACTIVE’s products will be sold under the UC4 Decision and UC4 Insight brands. UC4 Decision is an event processing tool that processes thousands of events per second to deliver real time information to IT infrastructure and service delivery.
Carlyle acquired UC4 in 2006 in a secondary buyout from Austrian firms PONTIS Venture Partners and Capexit.
