Carlyle’s Warsaw office adds

Carlyle has made a triple appointment to its Central and Eastern European team in Warsaw. Janusz R. Guy has been named as a managing director, Aleksander Kacprzyk, a director and Piotr Nocen, also a director.

They will be the first additions to the team since it was set-up in August 2007 by managing director Ryszard Wojtkowski.

Prior to this he was vice president of IVAX Pharmaceuticals, the sole shareholder of Polfa Kutno, which Guy led through a successful restructuring process as President and CEO.

Kacprzyk joins from a Polish investment firm where he was an investment director. Prior to this he was with McKinsey & Co where he worked on projects in the manufacturing, consumer goods, financial institutions, transportation and pharmaceutical sectors.

Nocen was previously an investment director and partner at 3TS Capital Partners. Prior to 3TS, he worked with the financial advisory services team at PwC.
