UK independent advisory firm Catalyst Fund Management & Research has made six new appointments.
Robin Black has been appointed managing partner of Catalyst Fund 1 and Luca Bosatta, a former managing director of UBS, has been named social impact partner. The two will manage Catalyst Fund 1 which targets ethical consumerism in health and wellness, human capital, energy efficiency and the environment.
Catalyst has also named Tim Farazmand as non-executive director to the firm. It has expanded its investment committee with the appointments of Jeremy Gough, John Bates and Andy Hobsbawn.
The independent advisory firm is said to be in the process of raising £40m from institutional investors including Barclays Bank.
