Chart of the week: Buyout debt percentages lowest in seven years

In conjunction with fewer investment opportunities for PE firms in the current marketplace, the median buyout debt percentage is at a seven year-low of 48.4 percent. With PE firms putting in a higher percentage of equity and acquiring less debt in return, big profits will be harder to come by.
