Chart of the Week: Median buyout size nearly doubles from last year

According to Pitchbook’s latest U.S. private equity breakdown, firms are conducting fewer LBOs at higher prices. Through three quarters, 2017’s median buyout size is $200 million, almost doubling the $101.8 million from a year ago.
