Coller Capital hires Flynn

Coller Capital has appointed Susan Flynn as investment director, European investments. Flynn has spent the last eight years with General Motors Investment Management Corporation (GMIMCO), most recently as CEO of General Motors Asset Management in the UK. At GMIMCO, she spent two years in New York as a portfolio manager where she established General Motors’ international private equity programme, returning to the UK to become chief investment officer for General Motors’ UK pension funds, while continuing to manage GM’s European private equity activities. Previously Susan was associate director at Rothschild Asset Management, advising private equity funds specialising in biotechnology and healthcare.

Jeremy Coller, founder and chief investment officer of Coller Capital, said: “Susan is held in extremely high regard, right across the private equity industry, not least for establishing GM’s international private equity programme out of New York, and then managing its European private equity activities from London. The expertise, track record and global network that she has built up over the years make her a formidable addition to the Coller Capital team, and we are delighted that she has decided to join.”
