Comments – Technology focused investment group, Durlacher has today announced the completion of a £2.5 million round of financing for Aerial Camera Systems (ACS) Ltd. The specialist camera systems business develops and supply’s a range of advanced filming solutions in the areas of broadcast, sport, film and live music.

The company focuses on technology that is designed to capture dynamic filming sequences via solutions that include cricket stump cameras, US football helmet cameras, aerial photography and tracking cameras.

Recent developments have involved the introduction of an R&D department in order to meet the individual requirements of broadcasters’ and producers’ courtesy of a new in house design team that focuses on the integration of systems from the concept stage.

The new financing comes after the acquisition of Camera Tracking Company by ACS in November 2000, an addition which allowed the group to broaden its developmental and geographical scope.
