Nachya’s responsibilities will include fundraising and investor relations as well as monitoring of selected portfolio companies. She spent the last seven years with Innova Capital as a vice president responsible for fund operations and portfolio management. Prior to that she worked for four years as a financial manager at Sanofi-Synthelabo Poland, the Polish branch of the French pharmaceutical manufacturer. She also spent four years as an auditor at Arthur Andersen in Warsaw and Salustro Reydel in Paris. Monika Nachya holds a degree from the Warsaw School of Economics.
Nacu joined Enterprise Investors in 2005. He is head of the firm’s representative office in Romania and he is responsible for the firm’s investment activities in the country. He co-managed EI’s investment in Macon Deva, a leading Romanian producer of construction materials, and is now member of the board of directors of Macon Deva and of Artima Romania, the supermarket operator. Nacu worked for over six years as investment officer for International Finance Corporation, the investment division of the World Bank Group. He also worked for two years for the Romanian government, managing one of the largest privatization portfolios, and he completed over 25 privatizations. Nacu gained industrial and managerial experience from having worked for a number of years in one of the largest Romanian industrial companies.
Enterprise Investors was founded in 1990 and now has 30 investment professionals, including 16 partners spread across four offices in Central and Eastern Europe.
