ETF reaches €100m

ETF will focus on the clean technology and services sector on a pan-European basis with emphasis on the UK, the Nordic Countries, Germany, Benelux and Switzerland. The fund will be focusing on the growth areas of energy efficiency and power conservation; renewable energy generation; water – treatment & conservation; agriculture; environmental services, waste reduction & recycling; mass and sustainable transportation systems and material sciences and their industrial applications.

The fund has recently completed its first investments in Metalysis, a technology business for the global specialty metals industry and more recently Perpetuum, a manufacturer of vibration energy harvesting devices.

Investors in ETF include Swiss Re, the European Investment Fund (EIF) and a number of leading pension funds and financial institutions.

The three founding partners are Henrik Olsén, Patrick Sheehan and Peter Horsburgh. They are supported by Per Ericsson as senior advisor and David Quysner as chairman.
