Neale Dennett has been appointed financial controller of eVerger, the $100 million joint venture established by Aegis Group and Warburg Pincus, which provides funding and management expertise to companies that develop technology and software to support marketers.
Dennett will be responsible for the management of the finance function of eVerger, with particular emphasis on monitoring and reviewing the performance of its portfolio companies. He was previously corporate finance executive at BDO Stoy Hayward.
Since April 2000, eVerger has invested over $33 million in ventures including Dynamic Logic, iQ.com, NetUsability, NewWorld Commerce and Paramark. It is anticipated that its portfolio will expand to around 12 companies from the UK, Europe and the US by the end of 2001.
