The Carlyle Group has raised $308 million for its new fund, Carlyle Peru Fund LP. The fund will be invested by Carlyle in consultation with Credicorp, Peru’s largest bank. It will invest across industries including health care, retail and consumer, services to mining, construction and infrastructure businesses, and education. Carlyle opened its Lima office last year.

LGT Capital Partners has closed Crown Global Secondaries III, its third global private equity secondary fund, reaching a total of $2 billion. The program’s investor base consists of more than 80 institutions and includes sovereign wealth funds, government pension funds, corporate pension funds, insurance companies, endowments and foundations.

Origo Partners and Myanmar-based Serge Pun & Associates have teamed up in a joint venture to identify investment opportunities across the natural resources and other sectors in Myanmar. The joint venture, SPA Origo Myanmar Holding Co Pte Ltd, will be owned equally by the two firms.

Seacoast Capital Managers has closed its third mezzanine fund, Seacoast Capital Partners III LP, with $150 million in commitments. The firm has offices in Boston and San Francisco.
