Dinvest Total Return LP of New York is raising $1 billion through a private placement of partnership interests. There is a minimum investment of $1 million required for both individual and institutional investors. Rhone Group Advisors LLC of New York is acting as the agent on the placement. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised about $10.16 million from 20 accredited investors. The LP, formed to develop and actively maintain an investment portfolio of non-traditional asset managers, will seek to earn long-term returns that are superior to those available in the traditional public equity and fixed income markets.

KP IV LP of Mt. Kisco, N.Y., is raising $550 million through a private placement of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised just over $15.04 million from 10 accredited investors. The private investment fund intends to use the proceeds from the offering for investments in portfolio securities.

Storm Ventures Fund II LLC of New York is raising $400 million through a private placement of limited liability company memberships. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised about $312.4 million from 120 accredited investors. The investment fund, which is engaged in seeking capital appreciation, intends to use proceeds from the offering for investments.

Apex Investment Fund LP of Chicago is raising $350 million through a private placement of partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $58 million from 14 accredited investors. The venture capital limited partnership, formed to make equity investments in companies with proprietary technologies or other competitive advantages, intends to use the proceeds to make equity investments.
