C. E. Unterberg, Towbin Select Technology Partners I LP of New York raised $12.1 million from 13 accredited investors through an offering of limited partnership interests. The minimum investment of $5 million required on the placement can be waived. The fund plans to invest in publicly-traded U.S. technology companies.

Runnymede Capital Partners LP of New York filed to raise $10 million through an offering of limited partnership interests. A minimum investment of $250,000 is required on the placement.

Mariposa Investment Partners LP of West Orange, N.J., has filed to raise $50 million through an offering of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $450,000 from four accredited and two non-accredited investors. The minimum investment of $100,000 required on the placement can be waived.

Uptrend Fund I LP of Mendon, Mass., has filed to raise $10 million through an offering of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $800,000 from five accredited investors. The fund plans to invest in securities.

Compass Venture Partners II LP of Menlo Park, Calif., has filed to raise $50 million through an offering of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $8.5 million from 15 accredited investors. A minimum investment of $20,000 is required on the placement.

DFJ Frontier Fund LP of Redwood City, Calif., has filed to raise $100 million through an offering of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $20 million from two accredited investors. The fund intends to invest in privately-held early-stage companies.

Lighthouse Capital Partners V LP of Greenbrae, Calif., has filed to raise $400 million through an offering of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $189 million from 20 accredited investors.

Atlas Capital LP of Dallas raised $2.8 million from six accredited investors through an offering of limited partnership interests. A minimum investment of $250,000 is required on the placement.

Flournoy Preferred Equity Income Fund I LLC of Columbus, Ga., has filed to raise $27 million through an offering of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $11.3 million from 30 accredited investors. A minimum investment of $250,000 is required on the placement. Synovus Securities Inc. of Columbus, Ga., is acting as agent on the placement for $500,000 in sales commission.
