At the time of its SEC filing, the open-ended fund had already raised $1.1 million from three accredited investors. The minimum investment of $500,000 required on the placement can be waived.

Numeric U.S. Growth Fund LP of Cambridge, Mass., raised $40.5 million from five accredited investors through a private placement of limited partnership interests. A minimum investment of $1 million was required on the placement.

Deltec Total Return Bond Fund LP of New York has filed to raise $1 billion through a private placement of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the open-ended fund had already raised $3.9 million from seven accredited investors. The minimum investment of $250,000 required on the placement can be waived.

Lotus Global Multi-Strategy Fund LP of New York has filed to raise $500 million through a private placement of membership interests. A minimum investment of $1 million is required on the placement.

Patton Miles Fund 1 LP of Indianapolis has filed to raise an unlimited amount through a private placement of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $1.6 million from seven accredited investors. A minimum investment of $250,000 is required on the placement. The partnership plans to operate as a private equity fund.

Meditron Fundamental Value/Growth Fund LLC of New York has filed to raise an unlimited amount through a private placement of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $14.5 million from seven accredited investors. A minimum investment of $2 million is required on the placement.

Laurel Ridge Partners LP of New York has filed to raise $100 million through a private placement of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $82.7 million from 10 accredited investors. The minimum investment of $1 million required on the placement can be waived.

Glenwood Institutional Fund Ltd. of Chicago has filed to raise a maximum of $300 million through a private placement of redeemable participating shares. The minimum investment of $5 million required on the placement can be waived.
