Fund of Funds Raises $111.9M So Far For Co-Investments

Pantheon Ventures has secured more than $111.9 million in commitments for its second co-investment fund, according to a recent regulatory filing.

The fund of funds firm raised the commitments for the fund, Pantheon Global Co-Investment Opportunities Fund II LP, from at least three investors, according to the filing. It’s unclear how much the firm is seeking to raise.

Pantheon’s co-investment program, which dates back to 1997, spans deals in North, Europe, China and Australia in the media, health care, energy, education, industrial and professional services sector, according to the firm’s Web site.

The program is buyout-focused, though it is also interested in growth equity and special situations, according to the firm. It typically will invest $10 million to $50 million in cash-flow positive businesses. It seeks business with firms with proven track records and sector expertise.

Pantheon, which has offices in London, Hong Kong, San Francisco and New York, manages primary, secondary and infrastructure fund investments, as well as customized separate accounts with private equity firms. The firm manages $23.9 billion in assets.
