Paul Capital Top Tier Investments II LP of San Francisco raised an additional $120 million from five accredited investors through a private placement of partnership interests. This brings the total amount raised to $417.3 million. Most recently, the fund reported that it had raised $297.3 million from eight accredited investors as of August 2003. The fund had filed to raise up to $950 million. A minimum investment of $120 million is required on the placement. The fund plans to make venture capital investments.

Morrison Street Fund I LP of Portland, Ore., raised $9.8 million from 18 accredited investors through a private offering of limited partnership interests. The minimum investment of $500,000 required on the placement can be waived. The fund announces itself as real estate equity fund.

Transportation Resource Partners LP of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., has filed to raise $200 million through a private offering of partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $152 million from eight accredited investors. The fund plans to make privately negotiated equity and equity-related investments primarily in, but not limited to, the light manufacturing, distribution and transportation industries.

Alloy Annex I LLC of Palo Alto, Calif., raised $1.3 million from eight accredited investors through a private offering of partnership interests. The fund plans to make venture capital investments.

GTCR Fund VIII/B LP of Chicago has filed an amendment to report that it had raised $266.8 million from eight accredited investors through a private offering of limited partnership interests. In March, the fund filed with SEC the initial application to raise $2 billion through a private offering of limited partnership interests. The minimum investment of $1 million required on the placement can be waived. The private equity fund plans to acquire companies.

USHCC Private Equity LP of Chicago has filed to raise $50 million through a private offering of limited liability company membership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $30.8 million from 16 accredited investors. A minimum investment of $250,000 is required on the placement.

Outdoor Investors LP of Omaha, Neb., raised $42 million from 10 accredited investors through a private offering of limited partnership interests. A minimum investment of $249,984 is required on the placement. The fund plans to invest in private companies pursuant to private placement.
