LK2 Fund LLC of Stamford, Conn., has filed to raise $100 million through a private offering of membership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $55 million from one accredited investor. The minimum investment of $1 million required on the placement can be waived.

Sage Private Equity Partners I LP of Bala Cynwyd, Pa., raised $2.3 million from 88 accredited investors through a private offering of partnership interests. The minimum investment of $25,000 required on the placement can be waived. The fund plans to make real estate investments.

Joseki Capital Partners I LP of Menlo Park, Calif., has field to raise $10 million through a private offering of units of limited partnership interests. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $3.4 million from 18 accredited investors. A minimum investment of $25,000 is required on the placement. The fund plans to make investments in the ìmid-techî companies in the development stage.

Burrill Life Sciences Capital Fund LP of San Francisco raised additional $50.6 million from eight accredited investors through a private placement of partnership interests. This brings the total amount raised to $117.6 million. Most recently, the fund reported that it had raised $67 million from 13 accredited investors as of October 2002. The fund had filed to raise up to $250 million. A minimum investment of $100,000 is required on the placement. SS Thomas & Associates LLC of East Granby, Conn., is acting as an agent on the placement.

Sand Hill Venture Debt III LP of Menlo Park, Calif., has filed to raise $75 million through a private offering of partnership interests. The fund filed an amendment with SEC to upgrade its raising target from $50 million reported earlier. At the time of its SEC filing, the fund had already raised $5 million from two accredited investors. The minimum investment of $1 million required on the placement can be waived. The fund is established to invest in privately held early-stage companies by making loans with equity components.
