HIG adds to London office

HIG Capital, the US mid-market firm that is mounting an assault on Europe, has strengthened its London team with two senior appointments.

Mark Kelly joins from Alexsun Capital Partners, a London private investment fund focusing on underperforming private and publicly quoted companies where he was managing partner. He has spent eleven years in private equity and was previously with Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, TD Capital Partners and with the private equity group of Bain & Company in San Francisco and London.

Andrew Busby joins from Kroll Talbot Hughes, the specialist European restructuring firm, bringing experience gained while leading a number of complex financial and operational restructuring assignments of distressed businesses across Europe. Prior to his time at Kroll, he worked within the corporate restructuring teams at both Ernst & Young and Arthur Andersen, advising the stakeholders of distressed companies.
