Honeywell LP Michelle McKinnon moves to Loews

The corporate pension world has seen several LP moves in recent months

Michelle McKinnon, a portfolio manager in alternative investments at Honeywell’s corporate pension, joined the alternatives portfolio at Loews Corp.’s pension fund, a spokeswoman confirmed.

McKinnon joined Loews in September, the spokeswoman said. She worked at Honeywell from 2008 through September, according to McKinnon’s LinkedIn profile.

At Honeywell, McKinnon sourced, assessed and managed fund commitments in buyouts, growth equity, mezzanine, hedge funds and private credit, her LinkedIn said. She also originated and led direct and co-investments across multiple sectors, the profile said.

Earlier in her career, McKinnon was a senior vice president in investment banking at Lehman Brothers, and VP of finance and senior director of IR at SiriusXM, her profile said.

The corporate pension world has seen several LP moves in recent months. Jonathan Raskin, who worked on private equity for AT&T’s corporate pension, left late last year and joined Prudential’s pension program, Buyouts previously reported.

The PE chief for Verizon’s corporate pension, Michael O’Connor, retired in summer of 2019. He was replaced by Stephen Blundin to lead private equity at Verizon Investment Management Co.
