Established in September 1999 and based in Fontenay-aux-Roses, France, Ipanema is the first company to offer enterprises a complete system for harnessing the vast advantages of IP (Internet Protocol) networks.

Ipanema has created a global and comprehensive service, the Ipanema Technologies’ QoSmart System which allows a global network performance management based on enterprise objectives. Jean-Yves Leclerc, CEO of Ipanema, commented: “To have the confidence of worldwide investors is a real chance for Ipanema Technologies. This second round of financing will allow us to develop our international sales by strengthening our teams and adopting a pro-active strategy for the European and American markets. The market of IP networks optimization and measurement systems promises exponential growth and Ipanema Technologies will be the leader.”

Francois Tison, a director of Net Partners, said: “Ipanema Technologies is evolving in a market with great potential, which is set to explode by 2004. Its approach is currently unrivalled, giving Ipanema Technologies a clear lead over other competitors.”
