LP Jason Wood leaves Zurich and joins AIG Investments

Jason Wood, a director at Zurich Alternative Asset Management, left recently and joined AIG Investments, according to a source and Wood’s LinkedIn profile.

Lauren Kochendarfer, a spokeswoman with AIG, confirmed that Wood joined AIG Investments on September 28 as a managing director in direct equities. In this role, Wood works on private equity and venture capital co-investments, according to his LinkedIn profile.

Wood worked at Zurich from May 2012 to September 2015, according to LinkedIn. At Zurich, Wood also focused on co-investments.

Prior to Zurich, Wood worked at Parish Capital Advisors, where he was a vice president.

It’s not clear if Wood is being directly replaced at Zurich. A spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.

Zurich, formed in 2006, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Insurance Group. The New York-based group focuses on hedge funds, private equity and real estate, and has a team of around 30 professionals, according to the company’s website.
