The tally includes BlueMountain Credit Opportunities Fund I LP, which secured $736.2 million, according to a Form D filing by BlueMountain Capital Management LLC. The capital was from 44 accredited investors. The New York asset manager is focused on the credit and equity derivatives markets.

Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund also secured $730 million from four accredited investors. The New York shop invests in traditional infrastructure assets in North America’s middle market. In addition, OFS Energy Fund LLC of Houston raised $90 million for OFS Energy Fund II, which sought $75 million.

Thomson Reuters, which publishes Buyouts, tracked 36 transactions involving U.S.-based financial sponsors from Oct. 10 to Oct. 23. The nine deals with disclosed financial details combined for about $6.9 billion. Year-to-date deal volume rose to $78.4 billion, assisted by four deals worth at least $1 billion apiece.

The largest deal involved the purchase of Getty Images Inc. from Hellman & Friedman LLC in a secondary buyout transaction.  Carlyle Group LP led an investor group that included Getty’s management to buy the Seattle provider of visual content for $3.3 billion.
