Among the developments of the past two weeks, Gryphon Investors completed fundraising for its second bridge fund. The firm raised $365 million for Gryphon Partners 3.5 LP, well above the initial $250 million it had been seeking.

On the deal front, Thomson Reuters, the publisher of Buyouts, tallied 37 new deals among U.S.-based financial sponsors over the past two weeks. The aggregate value of deals that disclosed their financial terms was $461.2 million. Overall deal value increased to over $102.9 billion, far surpassing the amount disclosed at the same time last year.

The largest deal to close in the past two weeks was the acquisition of Michael Baker Corp by Integrated Mission Solutions LLC, a unit of DC Capital Partners LLC. The Moon Township, Pennsylvania-based provider of engineering services had its entire share capital acquired for $40.5 in cash per share for a total value of $391.54 million.
