The largest deal to close was the acquisition of acquired the entire share capital of Tyco Fire & Security Services Korea Co Ltd, a Seoul-based provider of security and fire monitoring installation and maintenance services, by Siren Investment LLC, a unit of The Carlyle Group LP, from Tyco International Ltd, for 2.064 trillion Korean won ($1.93 billion) in cash, in a leveraged buyout transaction.
