The six-strong corporate finance team from Manc-hester-based accountants Jackson Stephen has been acquired by leading corporate finance boutique McInnes Corporate Finance in a move that will significantly boost the firm’s Manchester capability.
Partner Jeff Barber, along with five other Manchester-based dealmakers and support staff has joined the multi-award winning McInnes team that opened its Manchester office in November last year.
The team that specialises in providing corporate finance advice to SMEs will work alongside existing McInnes Manchester partners Paul Morton and Jim Whitaker, enabling the firm to offer advice across a broader range of transactions.
The team is working from offices at Piccadilly Plaza, Manchester for the short term, but is seeking suitable premises to house the grow-ing eight-strong Manchester team.
