In December last year the company received euro3 million from the Gilde IT Fund, which also participated in the most recent round of financing, which was led by global technology investor, Advent International, and ABN AMRO Corporate Investment, a subsidiary of the Dutch bank. According to Nick Haasnoot, chief executive officer of AtoBe, the new name “symbolises the increasing mobility of people” while also emphasising the company’s professional approach and independence from back-office systems, operators, devices and technology. AtoBe, with its headquartered in Haarlem, employs over 80 people in offices in London, Hannover and the Netherlands. The company plans to use this round of funding to further expand its product and services portfolio.
