OPR names new financial head

Law firm Oostvogels Pfister Roemers (OPR) has installed a former partner of Noble & Scheidecker, a Luxembourg business law firm, as head of its finance group. Jean-François Trapp’s main practice areas include banking & finance and corporate law. He has previously worked with Kremer Associés and Clifford Chance.

He has also been teaching tax law at the University of Luxembourg for more than five years.

Trapp’s appointment follows a number of high profile hires for the firm, including ex Clifford Chance partner, Charles Roemers as senior tax partner and, founder of Nauta Dutilh’s Luxembourg tax practice, Frédéric Feyten, as additional tax partner.
