Thomas Palmer has joined Adams, Harkness & Hill Technology Ventures as a general partner. In this role, Tom will focus on managing investments in emerging growth companies, managing fund operations and raising capital. Palmer was most recently with Kansas City Equity Partners, where he served as managing director responsible for investments in information technology and communications.

Scott Windham has joined St. Louis-based OCG Ventures as a partner focusing on investments in the data, cable, and communications equipment sectors. Windham was previously the founder and managing general partner of Clayton Capital LLC and Falcon/Capital Cable LP, a firm acquired by Charter Communications in 2001.

Christ Arsenault has joined MSBI Capital as partner focusing on technology deals. Arsenault previously served as partner and entrepreneur-in-residence with the Telesystem Group.

Joshua Pickus and Ravi Chiruvolu have been appointed to the board of directors of Niku Corp., a provider of services relationship management software. Pickus is NikuĂ­s chief financial officer and a former partner at Bowman Capital Management. Chiruvolu heads the software investment practice at Charter Venture Capital.

Andy Zulauf has been named a managing director at Adena Ventures. Zulauf has been working for the company for months informally while waiting for the U.S. Small Business Administration to complete an extensive background check.

William Janeway, vice chairman of Warburg Pincus LLC, has been appointed a director to Manugistics Group Inc.Ă­s board of directors.

Kevin Mohan and Thomas Jennings of Summit Partners are joining the board of Sage Telecom Inc., an Allen, Texas-based competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC).

Luis Camillerias and Juan Diaz-Laviada have been named partner and managing partner respectively in Advent InternationalĂ­s new advisory office in Madrid. Jaime Carvajal Urquijo has joined as chairman of the new office. The three men founded the private equity firm Iberfomento before joining Dresdner Kleinwort Capital (DrKC). The Madrid team will focus on later stage minority position investments and buyouts.

Pete Magowan has joined London-based venture firm Alta Berkely as a partner. Magowan was previously an executive with microchip manufacturer ARM Holdings.
