CraigJohnson, founder of VentureLawGroup; Professor LawrenceLau, Professor HauLee and JosephGoodmanPhD, all from StanfordUniversity; FrankMarshall, board member of PMCSierra and NetscreenTechnologies; FrankFanzilli, a new venture partner at Allegis; and JamesJordan, founder of UngermannBass and former president of Kalpana have all joined FocusVenturesí Advisors Board.

The venture advisors board works closely with Focus Ventures to help identify investment opportunities, evaluate emerging technologies and business strategies, and establish contacts with entrepreneurs, potential senior executives and prospective customers for Focus Ventures portfolio companies. With this addition, the advisors board almost doubles its size to sixteen members.

Frank Fanzilli has been named a venture partner with Allegis Capital. Until his retirement in June 2002, Fanzilli was global chief information officer and managing director at CreditSuisseFirstBoston.

Michael Wolfle, former director of sales at ProSiebenMediaAG, has joined Wellington Partners as a venture partner.

TerryHandran has joined HFSCapitalLLC as a special director. Handran will be based out of Portland, Ore., and will be developing the firmís presence in the economic development of Native America. Handran is a member of the Cherokee nation and is the founder and managing director of NativeAmericaLLC, an international investment and business management-consulting firm.

AdamDunayer has been names a senior vice president in HoulihanLokeyHoward&Zukinís Dallas office. Dunayer will serve as the regional leader of the firmís distressed company mergers and acquisitions group. Prior to joining Houlihan Lokey, Dunayer served as a managing director with Bear, Stearns&Co.

EuanGorrie has joined SimpsonThacher& Bartlett as a partner in its London office. Gorrie has practiced with Allen& Overy since 1989. He specializes in acquisition finance and other leveraged finance transactions

ConorOíConnor, chief executive of EnterpriseEquity, has been re-elected chairman of the IrishVentureCapitalAssociation (IVCA).

Jonathan Seelig joins Polaris Venture Partners as an executive-in-residence after being co-founder and vice president of strategy and corporate development for AkamaiTechnologies. Bob Geiman joins Polaris as a principal from MCKCommunications, where he was a member of the management team running business development. SimeonSimeonov, also joining as a principal, was formerly chief architect and vice president of emerging technologies at Macromedia. The final new principal hire is BryceYoungren who served as a senior associate at GreatHillPartners.
