Robert Benmosche, former chief executive of MetLife, was named CEO of AIG. He succeeds interim CEO Edward Liddy, the former Allstate boss who most recently served as a partner with Clayton Dubilier & Rice.

Wang Bing has agreed to rejoin Bank of America-Merrill Lynch as a managing director and head of the firm’s corporate finance business in China.

Steven Bochner has been named CEO of law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, following the news that current CEO John Roos has been confirmed as U.S. Ambassador to Japan. Bochner joined the firm in 1981, and was named a partner in 1988.

Michael DeNoma, former CEO of Standard Chartered Bank PLC’s Global Consumer Bank, has joined Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. as a senior adviser.

AIG has named Harvey Golub as its non-executive chairman. He succeeds Ed Liddy, who is also stepping down as CEO. Golub is the former CEO of American Express, and currently serves as non-executive chairman of Ripplewood Holdings.

Aaron Headley has joined Versa Capital Management as an associate. He recently received his MBA from Wharton and, before that, worked at Schultze Asset Management, TouchStone Partners and Wachovia.

Stephen Lamb has agreed to join law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP as a partner in both the corporate and litigation departments. Lamb will also help open a Wilmington, Del., office for Paul Weiss. He has served as a vice chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery since 1997, and last year presided over a case in which Apollo Management portfolio company Hexion was found to have intentionally breached a merger agreement with Huntsman Corp.

has been named executive vice president and chief investment officer of OMERS (Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System), effective January 1. He has been president and CEO of Oxford Properties, OMERS’ real estate arm, since 2004.

Bob Leggett has retired as chief investment officer of the Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana, according to LBO Wire. The system is searching for a replacement. Leggett joined Louisiana TRS in 2007, after having served as CIO of the the New Hampshire Retirement System.

Christopher Marlowe has joined The Silverfern Group as a member of its senior merchant banking team. He previously was head of West Coast financial sponsors for Wachovia.

Michael McMahon has joined Houlihan Lokey as a managing director and head of financial institutions. He previously was with Morgan Stanley as a managing director and co-head of diversified financials.

David Scott has joined Lovell Minnick Partners as a senior associate. He will work out of the firm’s El Segundo, Calif., office, and previously was an associate with Berkshire Capital Securities.

Jonathan Tyler has joined Close Brothers Corporate Finance, as a London-based managing director in charge of the firm’s chemicals practice. He previously was with Houlihan Lokey.
