Mick MacBean and Norm Rokosh have joined TriWest Capital Partners as managing directors. MacBean is the founder and former CEO of Diamond Energy Services, while Rokosh has run companies like Macro Enterprises Inc.

Kevin Beeston, former chairman and CEO of Serco Group PLC, has joined Advent International as an operating partner. He will continue as chairman of Advent portfolio company Domestic & General, which provides post point-of-sale extended warranty services.

Patrick Boyce and Lane Brittain of Highland Capital Management have both been promoted to partner. Boyce is the firm’s COO and CFO, while Brittain is a portfolio manager and co-head of research.

Edwin Cox and William Graham have agreed to forfeit $39 million that prosecutors say is related to fraud at defunct futures and commodities trader Refco, where both men served as directors.

Ian Davis will joined Apax Partners as a senior adviser. He currently is a senior partner with McKinsey & Co., where he previously was a worldwide managing director. He also is a non-executive director of BP PLC.

Kurtis Fechtmeyer has joined the Silverfern Group as co-head of the firm’s technology merchant banking group. He previously was a managing director in the technology group at FBR Capital Markets.

Rob Firth has joined BoA Merrill Lynch as head of its European financial sponsors team. He previously was with Deutsche Bank.

Tom Flanagan has joined Jefferies as a managing director in the firm’s financial sponsors group. He previously ran the mid-market financial sponsors group for Lehman Brothers.

Stefan Franssen has joined GMT Communications Partners as a partner. He had spent the past eight years with Cinven.

Mark Genender has agreed to join The Carlyle Group as a New York-based managing director in the firm’s consumer and retail group. He previously co-founded Star Avenue Capital with Irving Place Capital and Creative Artists Agency, and was a managing director with Fenway Partners.

Jonathan Goldstein has joined Advantage Capital Partners as a managing director, with a focus on tax-incentive investing. He previously was an senior vice president with McCormack Baron Salazar. The firm also made several promotions, including Charles Booker and Jeremy Degenhart to principal and Christopher Harris to senior associate.

Erling Gustafsson is stepping down as president of AP6, a $2.4 billion Swedish pension fund. He will remain with the group until his successor is identified.

Walt Holzer has joined Kirkland & Ellis as a Chicago-based partner focused on private equity funds and portfolio companies. He previously led the Chicago private equity practice for Jones Day.

Ian Jacobson has stepped down as a vice president with Winona Capital Management, in order to become chief financial officer of Eco-Products Inc., a Boulder, Colo.-based maker of green foodservice disposables.

Paul Lattanzio has been named president of Star Avenue Capital, a consumer growth equity vehicle recently formed by Irving Place Capital and Creative Artists Agency. Lattanzio is the former head of Bear Growth Capital Partners.

Rebecca Lynn of Morgenthaler has been promoted to from principal to partner, according to VentureWire. She joined the firm’s Menlo Park office in 2007 from Procter and Gamble.

Hervé Malausséna has agreed to join the London office of Moelis & Co. as a managing director, with a focus on telecom sector advisory work. He previously was with Citigroup as a managing director and head of EMEA telecom I-banking.

Colleen Palmer has joined turnaround firm Getzler Henrich as a Chicago-based managing director with a focus on business development and financial restructuring engagements. She previously was with GE Commercial Finance.

Ashish Patel has joined anti-virus software maker AVG Technologies as senior vice president of corporate development. He previously was with Intel Capital and, before that, with private equity firm Actis.

John Pollock and Mike Miller have joined mid-market investment bank Fidus Partners as managing directors. Pollock previously was a managing director and head of the health care practice with Edgeview Partners. Miller, who was a managing director and head of business development for Allied Capital, will run business development for Fidus.

Greg Reynolds has joined The Comvest Group as a managing director. He previously was a director with Dymas Capital.

Jeff Schlosser has joined Alvarez & Marsal as a New York-based managing director in the firm’s private equity services operations group. He previously was national partner-in-charge of KPMG’s business due diligence group.

Benjamin Thorndike has joined Huntsman Gay Global Capital as a managing director and head of investor relations. He previously served as director of investor relations at Bain Capital.

Heather Wingate has joined Nomura Holding America to lead the company’s government affairs efforts in the U.S. She also will open a Washington, D.C. office. Wingate previously was head of federal governmental affairs for Citigroup.
