Patrick Enright joined Pequot Capital Management Inc. as a principal. Enright will spearhead the firm’s West Coast venture capital investments in health care, with the primary focus on biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and healthcare information technology.

Tim Liu, most recently at Morgan Stanley, has joined HIG Capital in Miami as an associate. Liu was placed at HIG by New York-based Glocap Search LLC.

Stephen Romaine has joined Glocap Search as the managing director of Glocapís investment banking practice. In addition, Peter Gray has joined Glocap as the managing director of Glocapís equity research and management consulting practices.

Edmund Pitcher has joined Flagship Ventures as a venture partner and a member of Flagshipís life sciences team, Pitcher is the founding partner and former chair of the patent and intellectual property practice group of Testa, Hurwitz & Thibeault LLP.

Robert Keller has been named a managing director of JPMorgan Private Bank in San Francisco. Keller, joins the firm from Rosewood Capital, a private equity firm based in San Francisco, where he was a general partner.

Peter Levine has joined Mayfield as a venture partner. He will focus on finding and evaluating new investment opportunities in the infrastructure and enterprise software sectors. Prior to joining Mayfield, Levine served as executive vice president for strategic and platform operations at Veritas Software.

Samuel Schwerin had joined Millennium Technology Ventures Advisors LLC as a managing partner. He was most recently a member of the senior management team at StorageApps, a data storage virtualization company.
