David Bradley has agreed to join The Blackstone Group as a senior managing director in its corporate advisory group, and as head of its global chemicals practice. He is the former global head of chemicals at UBS, and will officially join Blackstone at the end of June.

Art Collins Jr. has joined Oak Hill Capital Partners as a senior advisor. He is the former chairman and CEO of Medtronic Inc., from which he retired last September.

Robert Collins has joined Greenhill & Co. as a Chicago-based managing director, overseeing infrastructure advisory work in the Americas. He previously was at Morgan Stanley as a managing director and head of infrastructure I-banking in the Americas.

Michael DeMane has joined Thomas, McNerney & Partners as a Minneapolis-based senior advisor. He spent the past eight years in various executive roles with Medtronic Inc., most recently as chief operating officer.

William Drewry has joined Diamond Castle Holdings as an operating partner and chairman of media investments. He previously was a managing director in the global media group of UBS. Before that, he was global head of media equity research for Credit Suisse.

Charles Duff has joined Emissary Capital Group, a merchant bank focused on China and India, as a managing director and head of capital markets. He previously was CEO of Mint Capital Partners, a New York-based merchant bank focused on the biotech and healthcare sectors.

Jeff Hammer and Paul Sanabria have joined Houlihan Lokey to co-lead a team focused on the secondary market for partnerships and other private investments held by institutional investors. They were previously with Bear Stearns & Co.

Harris Williams & Co. has made four promotions: Jim Reinhart to director, and Matt White, David Allebach and Rich Crawford to vice presidents. Allabach and Crawford work for Cobblestone Advisors, a Harris Williams affiliate focused on the lower middle-markets.

Dawn Hudson has joined strategic advisory The Parthenon Group, as vice chair. She previously was president and CEO of Pepsi Cola, North America. At Parthenon, she will focus on the consumer, retail and sports management sectors.

Mark Gailys and Casey Winters have joined Alvarez & Marsal as managers in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Gailys was previously with Beacon Partners and, before that, with GI Partners. Winters was previously with PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Robert Grubbs, former CEO of Anixter International Inc., has joined Irving Place Capital as a senior advisor, with a focus on the distribution sector.

Jeff Mansukhani has joined Bay Hills Capital Management as a partner. He previously was a managing director with Cambridge Associates. Bay Hills is a San Francisco-based fund-of-funds manager focused on the small to lower mid-market buyouts space.

Maurice Marchesini and Sean Minnihan have joined UBS Investment Bank as managing directors in the firm’s financial institutions group. Marchesini will be based in Los Angeles, and previously was with Morgan Stanley as head of financial services I-banking for the Western U.S. Minnihan will be based in New York, and previously was with Banc of America Securities, as head of its financial tech and security group.

John Paynter, former vice chairman of JPMorgan Cazenove, has joined Greenhill & Co. as a senior advisor.

Marco Pierettori has joined Investindustrial, a Southern European investment group, has internal legal counsel. He previously ran legal, compliance and audit operations for Lehman Brothers in Italy.

Mike Reid has joined Frog Capital (f.k.a. Foursome Investments), a London-based private equity firm focused on the cleantech and IT sectors. He previously was part of 3i Group’s growth equity team.

Dan Rosenweig has been named president and CEO of RedOctane, the Activision Publishing Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) unit responsible for Guitar Hero and the upcoming DJ Hero. He is a former COO of Yahoo and, most recently, served as an operating principal with The Quadrangle Group.

Arthur Peponis has joined Angelo, Gordon & Co. as co-head of private equity and special situations. He previously was with Goldman Sachs as a partner in the firm’s financial sponsors group.

Kamil Salame has joined CVC Capital Partners as a partner and U.S. head of the firm’s financial institutions group. He previously was a partner with DLJ Merchant Banking Partners.

Jean-Michel Steg, former Citigroup banking chief for France and Belgium, has joined The Blackstone Group as a senior managing director in the firm’s corporate M&A and restructuring advisory group. He will work out of a new Paris office, which he also will lead.

Kirk Wilson, former vice chairman of Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division, has joined Greenhill & Co. has a managing director.
