Photobucket clicks with investors

Photobucket Inc., which provides free online hosting for video and photos, has expanded its Series B round to more than $14 million. In May 2006, Palo Alto, Calif.-based Photobucket announced that it raised a $10.5 million round that was led by Trinity Ventures.Trinty GP Gus Tai then joined the company’s baord. A regulatory filing indicates that some of the expanded Series B capital came from an affiliate of Insight Venture Partners and a Colorado-based entity called Red Tail Hawk. Individual investors, including some associated with Insight Venture Partners, had previously seeded the company.
