Pilot launches

Pilot Partners, a new firm comprising of executives and researchers, has launched its specialist interim management business.

The new firm will be led by James Wheeler and Michael Gebauer, who have spun out from Ashton Penney, the interim management provider for private equity and venture-backed companies.

Specialising in turnaround and the portfolio businesses of private equity firms in UK and Europe, Pilot will source and place independent senior management on an interim basis, including non-executive chairmen and board level directors – CEOs, CFOs and CROs (Chief Restructuring Officers) – but also where the interim executive is appointed with a view to taking on a permanent position.
